Sabena is a seasoned lawyer, foreign affairs journalist, and geopolitical analyst specializing in the wider Middle East, China, and South Asia.

Her contributions are regularly featured by major international outlets, such as Al-Monitor, The New Arab, TRT World, the South China Morning Post, Asia Times, The Diplomat, among others.

Sabena’s research focuses on geopolitics, economy, business, and domestic politics, where she has earned an excellent reputation for delivering in-depth analysis on international relations, geopolitical strategies, and cross-regional developments.

She has also collaborated with institutions like the University of Nottingham's Asia Research Institute, as well as a range of private sector research organizations producing insights and analysis on particular regional dynamics.

Based in Karachi, Pakistan, she continues to participate in the global discourse on international affairs through her incisive commentary and expert opinion.

Sabena holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Karachi University and a Bachelor of Arts in European History, Political Science, and English Literature from St. Joseph’s College, Karachi.
