Jeremias is a senior strategic business and political advisor, foreign policy expert and the founder of Kettner Advisory, which specializes in political risk analysis, foreign trade promotion, stakeholder dialogue, and public diplomacy. From 2018 to 2022, he served as Deputy Director of the Arabic Cultural House, The Divan, a cultural diplomacy initiative by the State of Qatar in Berlin.
Based in the German capital and frequently visiting the Gulf region, Jeremias is also a certified Supervisory Board Member at the European School of Management and Technology's (ESMT) executive education program. He has co-chaired the Young German Council on Foreign Affairs, and is an Alumni Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum.
An internationally acclaimed speaker and author, Jeremias is regularly called upon to share his expertise as a guest lecturer and commentator in international media. As co-founder of the interview platform and event format ‘The Bridge’, he interviews global leaders with the aim to build bridges between Middle Eastern and Western cultures through dialogue, open up fresh perspectives, and break trough existing information bubbles and bias.
Jeremias holds a PhD in Political Sciences from the Free University of Berlin. His thesis, published with Springer press, examines Qatari-German relations in business, politics and society, and has become a go-to source for everyone doing business with Qatar. His upcoming book about Qatari public diplomacy and leadership will be published by Palgrave Macmillan.
