Frank is an International Business and Economics scholar with extensive experience focusing on research methodology, organizational strategy, operational infrastructure, and complex strategic partnerships. Until 2020, Frank has served as faculty member at a leading national university in Qatar, where he conducted research and taught Logistics and Supply Chain Management with an emphasis on the global transportation industry.
In 2021, Frank returned to reassume a professorship at Anhalt University for Applied Sciences in Germany, where he had worked as Business Administration and Logistics Professor prior to his appointment in Qatar. During an eight-year tenure, he launched the university’s Master's program and a specialized research institute in Logistics, to which he additionally served as Director.
His analytical contributions meanwhile have taken him to academic mandates and consulting projects in the aviation and pharmaceutical industries in Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. He also is a coveted expert speaker and seasoned coach on complexity management for international C-suite executives. Frank has authored and co-authored numerous reference books, and published multiple academic research papers and opinion pieces. He received his doctoral and post-doctoral degrees from the University of Mainz, Germany.
