Adam is a political analyst and strategic communications consultant with a focus on policy topics shaping the GCC and wider MENA region. Until 2020, he was a lead editor and consultant to a premier national university in Qatar, where he emphasized on thought-leadership, international media, and the intersection between classical press and digital media tactics. He returned to Qatar, assuming a senior consulting role with the same institution in 2023, and remains to be a sought-after expert with several international research firms.
Adam has previously held the positions of Lead Strategic Communications Manager for the UK’s Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem), Director of Media and Communications for Slovakia’s GLOBSEC, and Head of Editorial Content for ETH Zurich’s International Relations and Security Network (ISN). He moreover has extensive experience in designing communications training for university students and staff, modelling courses around issues typical to most academic syllabi in International Relations.
A regular contributor to a number of general interest and trade titles, Adam’s research and commentary have been published by Fair Observer, Inside Arabia, Gulf International Forum, among others. He received his MA in Intelligence and Security Studies from the University of Salford and BA in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lancaster University.
